"Martial arts always played an important role in my
life. At the age of 10 I started wrestling (not the
american style). At 15 I joined the local Ju-Jutsu club
to learn how to self-defend and sticked with it up to the
green belt. While I really enjoyed Ju-Jutsu, I had the feeling
that it's not really what I wanted to pursue any further."

"Like many other martial artists I started very early,
as a young boy, knowing about every martial arts movie that
was on the telly or at the cinemas back then. At the age
ot 10 I started with Karate. I was very excited and proud
to finally learn a solid martial art." ...more

"My career in martial arts began at the age of 11,
when I started fencing. After a few years I switched to
Tae-Kwon-Do. I was very keen on it until I've noticed WT.
That same day I applied at the school of Sifu Peter Maull.
I had to start from scratch again but I was very happy to
learn something new." ...more

Frank Wilser
"In spring 2002 I started my career at the police
forces of Baden-Württemberg. Part of the education
was training in self-defense, which I considered way to
little, however. Since this is a particular important part
of a police officer's every day life I knew I had to do
more practical training besides just knowing the legal aspects
of self-defense (and acting in self-defense). My slogan
was (and still is): In theory you might be right, but you
have to survive in reality first." ...more
